The Natural Home
One of my favourite places to hang out is the book store. I love the smell, I love wandering around with endless things to look at, and I love that I can grab a stack of books, sit on the floor and not a single person will bother me. Yesterday I spent my evening doing this, with an Earl Grey Latte in hand I was in my happy place. I came across this incredible design book called The Natural Home. It was simply beautiful. There is one way to win me over with a book and its the layout, if it is done well with the perfect text, and the perfect photographs, I will love it forever. I consider myself to be a visual person so these kinds of things excite me. This book though! Oh I just ate it up, the textures, the colours, the simplicity of a natural home. My words can't do it justice so I encourage you to go take a look. It is truly inspirational.

The Goodwin Project
I came across this trailer when my dear friend Nadia posted it to her facebook. I watched it, absorbed the beauty and then watched about 20 more times. There was no way I could get sick of it. Now I wait patiently following the young families blog awaiting the day I can see the entire film. Their journey has been remarkable and from the filming to the photography I can only image what these places could be like in real person, they capture it so magnificently. Watch, absorb, love. Click HERE to follow their journey as well.

Kinfolk Vol.4
If you have yet to come across this magazine it is quite delightful and I highly recommend taking a gander. Their 4th issue just came out and I'm in love with all the images from it. Can't wait till Autumn comes and I can wear knitted hats and sweaters!

180 degrees South
Came across this film on Netflix and I am extremely glad I chose to watch it. I enjoy watching anything with adventure, it makes me feels as though I am on one myself. This film ended up being so much more then that though, it was a wake up call. It showed just a small glimpse of how our planet is deteriorating, how are oceans are dying and we aren't able to enjoy the resources we once did. I suggest you give it a watch, it's quite stunning.
